o Trade Test / Registration as an Engineering Technician in terms of South Africa Act 1994

o 2 Years experience in Supervisory level

KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Health and safety Act and safety standard

o Use of tools, equipment and machinery

o HR matters, planning and organizing training

o Assembly, installation and maintenance of equipment

o Politeness, willingness to help

o Financial management

o Technician, supervisory skills, project management

o People with electrical trade will be given preference, but also depending on performance

during interviews

o Maintain planning

o Liaise with the District Engineer and Infrastructure Development

o Budget estimates and monitoring of budget

o Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports

o Performance management and staff

KEY RESULTS AREAS

o Maintain health, safety and hygienic working condition of the maintenance department

o Conduct inspections to ensure work is completed as per required standard

o Monitor the quality of service delivery

o Maintain records of work requested and completed

o Maintain adequate and appropriate trained staff

o Inspect new and existing work as completed by trade workers and contractors

o Performance artisan work

o Allocate work to artisan and monitor performance thereafter

o Attend to meeting as required from time to time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Masters in Clinical Psychology Plus

• Current registration with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa as Clinical

Psychologist PLUS

• Fluency in IsiZulu will be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Sound clinical knowledge with regards to Clinical Psychology

• Knowledge of relevant ethical and medico-legal matters.

• Ability to assess, diagnose and manage patients

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• A Degree in Dental Therapy coupled with three years experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Basic diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

• Ability to conduct minor procedures.

• Service delivery orientation and sound dental therapy ethic skills

• Knowledge of current Health and Public legislation

• Good communication ,team- building and motivational skills

• High level of interpersonal relationship skills

• Ability to deal with all dental therapy emergencies

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Perform exodontias within the scope of dental therapy practice

• Provide conservative dentistry services to prolong teeth mobility

• Perform dental treatment and repair procedures such as scaling and polishing

• Perform provisional and diagnostic procedures such as X-ray to patients.

• Plan, Implement and evaluate specific treatment and prevention programmed for

individuals and groups

• Identify serious oral diseases and abnormalities

• Coordinate referrals from maximum patients care

• Give factual and professional advice on dental care to individuals, groups and

communities

• Provide counseling and support to patients undergoing rehabilitative dental health care

treatments

• Compile written and/or verbal reports
