New hopes for a new Shopping Plaza in the old Manguzi Sports Field next to KwaMtshiva

A new proposed shopping plazza is about to be erected at Manguzi Sports Grounds. That area is characterized by Imikhukhu which seem to be mushrooming. Lawlessness on the part of the Local Tradional Leadership and the Municipality has led towards a number of Imikhukhu shops surrounding Manguzi Town. One of the potential developers has highlighted that about more than 17 shops including Kentucky Fried Chicken would be accomodated in that new building. Currently the developers had made the application to use the land for this purpose. This has been negiotiated with hawkers, who also agreed that the Market would be destroyed and be accomodated in the new building.
